Questions
I paid on another device. How do I get Showpage Pro back?
Open Showpage, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe or buy Lifetime Pro. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so you cancel them in Apple's settings:
- iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Showpage, then Cancel Subscription.
- Mac: open the App Store app, click your name at the bottom left, then Account Settings, and next to Subscriptions click Manage.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or the free trial) to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the period ends. In Showpage, Settings ▸ Manage Subscription takes you there too while you're subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase, so there's nothing to cancel.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds go through Apple: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose "Request a refund". We can't see or refund App Store payments ourselves.
Where does the show information come from?
Show, episode, cast and schedule data and show pictures come from TVmaze, a community-built TV database, used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. If something is wrong or missing (a cast member, an air date), it can be fixed on TVmaze, and Showpage will show the fix after it next refreshes. You can still email us and we'll pass it along.
Movie information comes from TheTVDB and Trakt, trending and popular lists in Discover come from Trakt, and Where to Watch uses the Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night.
Why don't I see a next episode for a show in My Shows?
TVmaze hasn't announced one yet. That's normal between seasons and for some daily shows. Shows in My Shows check again whenever you open My Shows or Tonight, or pull down to refresh.
What's free and what's Pro?
Free: unlimited shows and movies in My Shows, every show, movie and person page, two custom lists, rewatches, On Hold and Dropped, watch dates and your own ratings, and TV Time and Trakt imports, with no time limit. Pro ($2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, with a one-week free trial, or $39.99 once for Lifetime Pro) adds new-episode alerts, calendar sync, Stats and Year in Review (with rewatch counts), Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, the Apple Watch app and complications, premiere and finale reminders, where-to-watch alerts for your streaming services, alerts for people you follow, unlimited custom lists and smart lists, full filmographies and episode guest stars, private notes, your highest-rated episodes, time left and finish-by dates, an Up Next time filter (“I have 30 minutes”), on-device recaps and ongoing two-way Trakt sync. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
How does calendar sync work?
With Showpage Pro, turn on Settings ▸ My Shows ▸ Add Episodes to Calendar. Showpage asks for calendar access once, makes a calendar called “Showpage” and adds the next 60 days of new episodes from your shows (and Watchlist movies coming out). It keeps that calendar up to date as air times change and removes episodes when you stop tracking a show. It only reads and changes events in the Showpage calendar. Turn the switch off to remove the calendar.
Why does my Apple Watch say “Unlock with Showpage Pro on your iPhone”?
The Apple Watch app and its complications are part of Showpage Pro. Subscribe in Showpage on your iPhone (or restore your purchase there), then open Showpage on your watch again.
Is my data private?
Yes. No account, no ads, no tracking, and your shows, movies and searches stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy.
